eTag
eTag helps people keep track of the everyday things they do not want to lose, with a family of compact trackers designed around simple finding.
eTag is designed to make one everyday job simpler.
Small things create surprisingly large interruptions when they disappear. eTag is designed to make finding a bag, wallet, keys or another tagged item feel obvious instead of theatrical.
A tracker is doing its job best when you barely have to think about it.
Finding should feel obvious, not theatrical.
Find
See where an eTag was last detected and move from “somewhere around here” toward a useful place to look.
Sound
Use an audible alert when the item is nearby and finding by sight is not enough.
Form Factors
Disc, card and compact designs let the tracker fit the object instead of forcing every object to fit the tracker.
Privacy
Finding should be useful without turning a personal item into a reason to weaken privacy expectations.
The physical world gets a search box.
eTag brings the idea of finding out of the browser and into the things people actually carry. eWatch and other eFind devices can become natural finding surfaces without turning a tracker into a science project.
A tracker is not improved by pretending the calendar is ahead of itself.
eTag is an eFind PRODUCT line. Exact models, configurations and regional availability belong on the dedicated eTag site, where they can stay current.
