Product update

eGlass now belongs in the product story as it exists today.

eGlass is now treated as an eFind product rather than a long-range concept. The dedicated eGlass site is the source for product direction, hardware evolution and availability.

The distinction matters because eFind Business is meant to separate three different questions: is something a real eFind product, can every customer use or buy it today, and which capabilities are still rolling out? Those questions are related, but they are not identical.

For eGlass, the dedicated product site now carries the most current product-level information. eFind Business provides the company context: where the product fits, what other eFind services it connects to, and how its status changes as the product matures.

Part of a larger eFind.

The product portfolio is increasingly connected through shared layers such as eFind ONE, eIntelligence, Maps, Translate, Mail, personal context and device experiences. The goal is not to make every product depend on every other product. It is to make the useful handoffs feel coherent when they matter.

We will continue to use status labels visibly. LIVE means a service is usable now. PRODUCT means an established eFind product line whose configurations or market availability can vary. BUILDING, RESEARCH and VISION remain reserved for work that has not reached that point.
